Flow journal

Built for orderflow traders

Most journals track what you made.
This one tracks why.

Log delta, volume profile, absorption and liquidity alongside every fill. Then find out which setups and sessions actually carry your edge — and which ones quietly drain it.

NQ · ES · MNQ · MES — futures first, no broker connection required.

The difference

Six setups. Every one measured.

Tag each trade with the setup that actually played out. After thirty trades you stop guessing which one is your bread and butter — the numbers tell you.

Absorption

Large limit orders soaking up aggression at a level.

Imbalance

One side of the book overwhelming the other.

Exhaustion

Momentum drying up at the end of a move.

Stopping volume

Heavy volume that halts the trend cold.

Breakout

Acceptance beyond a level, confirmed by flow.

Reversal

Flow flipping direction against the prior move.

What you can log

The context behind the fill

All optional. Not every orderflow trader uses every tool — log what you actually read, leave the rest empty.

Delta & cumulative delta

Direction and trend of net aggression, per trade.

Volume profile

POC and value area — was your entry inside or outside?

Liquidity pools

Buy-side or sell-side liquidity you traded into.

Session performance

Asia, London, New York and the overlap, compared.

Chart screenshots

Custom tags

Your own labels — A-setup, mistake, high conviction.

Insights

It tells you when it doesn't know

Most journals will name your best setup after three trades. That is not an insight, that is noise with a label on it. Flow Journal stays quiet until the sample is big enough to mean something.

At ten trades, a measured win rate of 60% could truthfully be anywhere between 29% and 91%. That is the honest width of the uncertainty — and the reason a “best setup” badge after a handful of trades tells you nothing at all.

Silence until the numbers mean something

Below ten trades in a category we show nothing but how many are still missing. Between ten and nineteen the result is marked as an early read. Only past twenty does it stand on its own.

Ranked by average R, not win rate

A setup can win 80% of the time and still bleed money if the losses are bigger than the wins. Every insight ranks by what actually stays in the account.
